Even more thoroughly than a simple zoom-in function, this collection of zoom-able photographs simulates the experience of looking at the Boîte in person and flipping through its loose folders. Such an online display actually enables viewers to see the Boîte from more angles and to explore the loose folders with more freedom than they could at an exhibition of the object, instead capturing the more intimate experience of seeing it in a study room like the Smart's.
