In response to the paradoxically sparse amount of available materials about such a prominent woman, this path attempts to account for all known primary sources that mention or discuss Mary Seacole with the intention of revealing archival gaps and discuss strategies to address them. Additionally, it traces the travel routes taken by Seacole to point at locations where archival research on Seacole remains to be done.
