Learning to See Systems is a new interdisciplinary graduate curriculum at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, generously supported by a grant from the Graduate College. Our goal is to consider what it would mean to conduct scholarship in the arts and humanities from a systems perspective. This book and its companion, Seeing Systems: A Conceptual Resource, are being developed for the first course in the new curriculum, Learning to See Communication Systems.
