The notion of an "unthinking acceptance of convenient short term solutions" connects to my second law in the sense that humans unthinkingly accept what is convenient in the moment without thinking about the long-term effect of that. Through technological mediation this is very present in our society today, and the humans in my posthuman world see the Kyroids as a way to get tasks they are more than capable of handling themselves delegated elsewhere.
