A prototype android built by Cyberlife creator Kamski for his artist friend Carl Manfred, Markus is the caretaker and helper to Carl. Narratively, Markus's role is that of Messiah to the Android population, or just behind RA9. His story takes heavily from the civil rights narrative as well as the debates over violent versus peaceful protest.
