Detroit Become Human

"Help you, how?"

The small girl, robot, thing looks up at you, "unfortunately I was only able to aquire this small human body. I have found this to be inefficient for human-automaton interaction. That is why I believe you will be the key to my mission, if a human is on board many more will follow." So not only has this random thing shown up at your house, destroyed your view of reality, but now is asking for your help too? Isn't this all a little too much for one day? But then you think about all the times in books you wished you were handed a quest as exquisite at this and decide to do what your favourite protagonist would do and accept destiny.

"I accept" you say, a stamp of approval, a vocal signing of contract, the plan moves forward. The first step the young robot has in mind? Why not just host a house party and introduce them to your new super cool friend, that will go swimmingly. You try to explain to AFHI why you believe this won't work, but she insists that starting with those with a close connection is the best way to go. With a sigh of defeat you pull out your phone and look through your friends list. What kind of people do you invite to a world-coming party? You send out an invite to your closest friends from school and work, the ones you don't mind sharing embarrasing stories and inappropriate snaps with, because hopefully even if they think you are insane they will still love you.

Quickly after the invites are sent you are swarmed with messages asking about this "new friend" you want to introduce, are you going to explain now or hope they will be shocked enough at the party to sit and listen then?
