Grace Schlemmer was born and raised on the West coast of the U.S. but has moved to Ohio to pursue her education at the Cleveland Institute of Art in the Biomedical Art major. Outside of doing art she enjoys being active including dancing, which she has done for 12 years and continues to pursue at Case, racing and casually sailing, and hiking, rock climbing, and generally enjoying what nature has to offer.
She has lots of family in the Cleveland area and a special connection to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as her great aunt used to work there until her passing and there are still pictures of her and the pieces that she has worked on up for exhibit.
