In other words, my research hypothesis appears to be correct. By deeply delving into this topic of discussion I hope I have brought a greater and more pertinent awareness to a systemic issue that has only become more unmanageable and widespread with the advent and introduction of a more globalized society. Hopefully the general public and whoever sifts through this digital project will feel a bit more educated regarding the way in which real-time, 21st century media most commonly and frequently portrays Latinx individuals and both creates and further entrenches arbitrarily imposed, hyper-sexualized beauty standards and false narratives.
