Kentucky College for Women's History: Revealing the story of women at Centre College

Introduction

This website is designed to guide you through the history of women at Centre College, in Danville, KY.  From its beginnings as a small program associated with the Presbyterian Church in the mid-19th century, to an independent institution as the Kentucky College for Women, to its status as the Women's Department of Centre College, to its complete integration with the college in 1962, and the lasting legacy of women on campus and how they've lived.

Navigate through the site in its intended order by using the blue buttons at the bottom of each page.  To skip around to different locations, navigate using the table of contents, located either just below this paragraph or in the top left corner.  To view images full-sized, simply click on them.  If at any time you want to return to this page, just click the title at the top of the screen.
