Social and Culture Aspects of Haiti and Taiwan




Introduction

This section addresses the socio-cultural relations of Haiti and Taiwan through looking at the social and cultural components of each nation. The factors present are wealth, language, religion, education level, family size, social organization, marriage customs, geographical location, and population density which all things that can affect a nation's particular lifestyle and identity. Each nation is distinctive because something that may be acceptable in one country can be prohibited in another. Haiti and Taiwan have created a unique set of beliefs and practices based from their experience as they were both colonized by other countries which has imposed external influence on their society.There are many factors that have contributed to the development of their contemporary way of living and how each nation has evolved. Cultural and social elements that demonstrate this in both nations is their religious beliefs, type of social stratification, language, and geographical location. Furthermore, analyzing haitian and taiwanese diaspora into other countries such as the United States is crucial to examine the socio-cultural relations of both countries.
