Conclusion

The final goal for relations between countries is to realize and protect national interests. The present relationship situation between mainland China and Haiti is mainly because it violates the one-China policy of mainland China and fits Haiti's requirement for Taiwan's economic assistance with the support of the United States. However, with mainland China's enhancing global and economic status, it is expected to have a promising mainland China-Haiti relationship in the future in a more advantageous environment.
