I have decided to do my dataset on early detective fiction in Europe and America.  I have focused my text on a number of detective short stories, plays, and novels, throughout the 19th and early 20th century. 

Here is a list of texts that I will be focusing on:

  1. You've got a great mix of titles here, Abby. Your spreadsheet is also descriptive of why you've chosen each location--however, you need to convert the locations to decimals. Google Earth should be able to do that for you. For example, if you google "London, England lat long" you get 51.5072° N, 0.1275° W. You don't need the degree symbol or the direction, so you would just use: 51.5072, 0.1275.
