Translation: A "monumental" surprise meant for the Samarios (people of Santa Marta) the fact that the works dedicated to the Tayrona Indians had been dismantled from the Santa Marta ridge -which is being remodeled- without prior notice to the community.
It was through social networks that people began to find out about the unilateral decision led by the Mayor's Office of Santa Marta, which contracted the rehabilitation of the first race, where five monuments to the Indians have been erected since 1993.
