Importing Media from the The Getty Museum Collection
The Getty Museum Collection is part of their Open Content Program which currently houses more than 87,000 images from the J. Paul Getty Museum and the Getty Research Institute.
To import media from The Getty Museum Collection, click the menu at the top of the navigation on the left side of the window and select "Import". Next, click "Other archives" and then "Getty Museum Collection". The Getty Museum Collection importer will appear, with an option to perform a search of the service.
Once search results are returned, you can preview individual files by clicking their "Preview" links on the right, or select one or more videos to import by clicking their associated checkboxes. Then, clicking the "Import selected media" button at the bottom will bring the media's metadata into Scalar.
