This title must seem strange to most readers. Some might even want to sneak the conjunctive “and” between “gothic” and “biology”, making it an additive instead of descriptive relationship. But I mean what I wrote. The science of biology is a (neo)gothic form of knowledge. Now we need to ask, what does this mean and why is it important?
