Karlos EC installed sewing site
You enter the factory and it is a melting pot of diversity. There are men and women from all backgrounds. You are confused by this because you believe it is a woman's job. On top of this, you have no idea how to sew. As you stare into space a young latina woman maybe 20 years old or so approaches you. She states she is the site supervisor and her name is Elaina. She reaches her hand out and you shake it. The EC kicks in, you start learning everything about Elaina, just like you she is an immigrant but much younger. Her parents let her come to America with an abusive uncle who she ran away from. She has had to take care of herself for most of her life doing upholstery work and has never had a steady living situation. Because of this, she has been the victim of sexual violence at the hands of evil men. You feel bad for her. As the EC turns off you can see that Elaina is laughing. She states that you have never sewed a day in your life. You agree. She asks you to hold up your fingers and says that is long as you two end the day with the same amount it will be a good day.
You work all days with Elaina and she shows you how to work the machines. She is a nice woman and is patient with you despite your lack of knowledge. It is the first time you feel like your success has depended on learning from a woman. By the end of the day, you are a pro. There is an hour left and she goes to assist other newcomers. A large man has a fit and starts cursing at Elaina telling her that she is worthless and this is a woman's job. He threatens to beat her if she does not do his work for him.
What do you do?
Stick up for Elaina
Or
Ignore the situation and keep working
