While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.
Myat Aung wrote this body of writing in 2015 as part of a class on Frank Lloyd Wright at Ripon College. An Art History major at Ripon, she enjoys engaging with art and architecture. In 2014, she wrote an interpretive label for an ornamentation from the proscenium arch at the Garrick Theater in Chicago, designed by Wright, which is now in the collection of Ripon College. She has visited the Wingspread, the SC Johnson Headquarters, the Guggenheim Museum, the Robie House, the Rookery, and the Unity Chapel in Spring Green, WI.
