Meter lists restaurants as an outlet for local food and profiles three different restaurants of southeast Minnesota that use local food in their menus.
And it is reflected in a statement from the MN Department of Health:
"[In Farm-to-School programs], kids eat more fresh local foods and learn about where their food comes from, all while supporting local farmers."
