Clearly, there is a fear about reaching the point of no return, which changes our life for the rest of time.
Despite this fear, we still gravitate towards the monstrous and discovering the unknown. Still, we idolize discovery, science, and technology. It is possible that our curiousity and love for the monstrous might be the death of us, but there is still so much to discover.
