Exploring the Mind: Seven Studies

Jeanne Lee

As of contributing to the creation of Exploring the Mind: Seven Studies, Jeanne Lee is a first-year undergraduate student of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Pursuing PreMed and planning to major in Biology and Neuroscience, she aspires eventually to be a physician and a researcher, working in both clinical and laboratory environments.

She loves animals and grew up with many different pets: zebra finches, budgie parakeets, cockatiels, koi fish, red-eared slider turtles, African spurred tortoises, golden-laced Polish chickens, a Lhasa Apso dog, two bearded dragons (one of which sadly passed away prematurely due to a congenital disorder, speculated to be a form of dwarfism), and nine Siberian huskies (there were two to begin with, but they eventually had seven puppies). On multiple occasions Jeanne has served as a midwife of sorts for her animal companions, who were also her siblings as she grew up.

Scaly, feathery, and furry companions aside, Jeanne was born in San Diego, California and grew up with her sister (about a year and a half younger), mother, and father. Her hobbies include doodling in the margins of her notes, digital sketching, elementary animating, writing short stories, and counseling her friends. She can sometimes make eye contact without panicking.

She wants to be a dragon one day.
