Jurassic World is a 2015 science fiction adventure film set 22 years after the events of the first Jurassic Park movie. The story revolves around the fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, which is created on Isla Nublar. One of the first scenes includes a meeting between officials talking about entertainment levels going down in the park. The park's management solution to this is creating a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur that will being new excitement to the park and will even be corporately sponsored and advertised as Verizon's Indominus Rex. The dinosaur is made to be smarter and purposely was made the color white to "give even the parents nightmares" However due to some human stupidity, it escapes its enclosure and goes on a rampage, causing chaos and endangering the lives of the park's visitors and staff. The movie's protagonist, Owen Grady, is a former Navy SEAL and a Velociraptor trainer who becomes the park's last hope in stopping the Indominus Rex. Alongside Claire Dearing, the park's operations manager, and her two nephews they try to track the escaped dinosaur and prevent it from causing further destruction.

As the park's staff attempts to track down the Indominus Rex, they discover that it has the ability to camouflage itself, making it almost impossible to locate. Meanwhile, the dinosaur's creators, Dr. Henry Wu and Vic Hoskins, have their own motives for wanting to capture the Indominus Rex, even if it means sacrificing the park's visitors and staff. In order to keep his scientific research a secret, Dr. Wu refused to share information about the Indominus Rex even it was taking the lives of many people. When being blamed for the creation of this monster, they deflected saying that the management asked for this when they wanted a dinosaur with "more teeth". Throughout the movie, the park team is adamant on capturing the dinosaur opposed to killing as they had invested over 20 million dollars into it. As the movie progresses, it becomes clear that the Indominus Rex is not the only threat to the park's visitors and staff, as the park's other dinosaurs also become more aggressive and unpredictable. The climax of the movie takes place in the park's main area, where the Indominus Rex and the park's other dinosaurs engage in a fierce battle. Owen and Claire work together to evacuate the park's visitors while also trying to stop the dinosaurs from destroying everything in their path. In the end, the Indominus Rex is defeated, but not without significant casualties, and the park is left in ruins. The movie ends with the surviving characters looking out at the island's beauty, while realizing the dangers that come with the resurrection of prehistoric creatures.
