Note Taking Challenge 9/9
My New Learning book finally arrived, but since I'm on Team B, I decided to stick with that schedule this week.
Here is a link to the Prezi I created on Chapter 2 of Brain Rules:

I've left my reflection on the last page of the Prezi presentation.

Shantal's Prezi was very similar to the prezi that I created for Brain Rules this week, too, and I agree with her that the tool is best used for summary. Students seem to be more engaged by the movement of the Prezi versus that of a traditional powerpoint presentation. Collaborating and sharing is easier with this software program, too.
Heather's Diigo was an interesting technology, as I haven't made use of browser ad ons too much, probably due to the sheer terror I experienced in the 90s when browser ad-ons would crash computers all the time. I'm sure they're much more stable now. I need to experiment with these, especially since I've switched some of my courses over to free, open-source texts. This might provide an excellent way for students to annotated their electronic readings.
