Turn away from audience

This child's head is turned here away from the audience, while the other figures turn toward each other and to the side. The movement of the children's heads indicate that they are not interested in the audience's perception--they are instead invested in the joy of play. The onlooker is displaced from the central position and the children reserve the right to control who has access to their joy and what the limitations of that access are.
