Finally, the title page notes that the text was published in London, “printed and sold by Gilbert and Plumer No. 13, Cree-Church-Lane, Leadenhall-Street, 1785; And fold at the Chapel in Jewry-Street; and by all the Bookfellers and Newfcarriers in Town and Country.” The text crossed international borders, yet the publishers, messengers, readers, and generally societies are connected through their religious beliefs and class backgrounds. Because of their religious commitments, a majority of the readers must have been interested in this powerful and transformative religious conversion.
