And you know, and San Francisco was exciting. And I went to work the Champagne Supper Club, with the La Frontine Production show. I left Oakland, at Slim Jenkin’s club.I went down to Fillmore, and then walked in and oh, all these beautiful girls in the chorus line. And they had [a] big tank, he had a tank that stood in the middle of the floor with all the fish and crabs and lobsters that they would get them out fresh for you. And the show started 12 o’clock. The last show was at 5 in the morning. You know, it was like that in San Francisco – everybody would leave from there and go over to Bimbo’s, ok, and party with the jazz.” - Lottie Graves Claiborne
