Everyone knows that the best television series on the planet is the Office, and that, ladies and gentlemen, is where my personal favorite meme comes from. Dwight Schrute Facts is a series of memes showcasing one of the funniest characters in the show. While the show itself started in March of 2005, the meme series did not start until 2011. This series feature the Dwight taking a well known statement and deeming it false on logical terms. This series has direct quotes from the show as well as fan made memes.
     These memes use image macros with a very serious looking image of Dwight. Anyone that watches the show will understand that Dwight takes pleasure in showing his superior knowledge and these memes showcase that perfectly. The first Schrute Fact meme to hit the internet was Dwight's denial of the popular Beatles lyric, "All you need is love." As you may have already guessed, Dwight has deemed that to be false.
     It was September of 2012 where Schrute Facts really started to spread. A single topic Tumblr page had been created as well as a personal blog. Another blog called Runt of the Web also featured these wonderful memes in a series that they entitled "Dwight Knows Best". Schrute facts continues to make appearances on the internet from websites such as Buzzfeed and more.
     Later in 2012, Schrute facts got a facebook page dedicated to its memes, but failed to see any real recognition on this social media platform. Then this phenomena hit Twitter and promptly received more than 8000 followers.  Eventually so many Schrute Facts memes were being created that their had to be a #schrutefacts hashtag to help keep track of all of the different series that were being made from this well know character.
     The first meme featured to the side of the page is one of my all time favorites. Schrute Facts has so many funny memes but this one fore me is just a winner. This little saying about getting to mans heart has been one that I have heard about a million times. To say that the world has beat this particular dead horse would be an understatement. With the Dwight Schrute touch that has been added to this saying, Schrute Facts has created a good laugh for any fans of the show, or really any user of the internet with a sense of humor. Schrute Facts is just that good.
