  Each day will be broken into sessions, led by different instructors, presenters, and graduate assistants. The sessions will include presentations, hands-on workshops, small group breakout sessions, and lectures. Participants should prepare the day's readings in advance of the sessions that they are listed under. Downloads and installations will be dealt with on a daily basis during lunch and the wrap-up sessions at the end of each day.
  
  The sessions are intended for the DHRI participants, instructors, and other guests of the program. Two lectures will be open to the public. Lisa Rhody, The Graduate Center, CUNY, will deliver a public lecture on Tuesday, May 28, 4 pm, in LN 1302-C. This lecture is entitled "The Middle Distance: Perspectives on Digital Scholarship." Nicky Agate, Columbia University Libraries, will speak on Friday, May 31, 1:30 pm, also in LN 1302-C. Her lecture is entitled "Openness, Ethics, and Evaluation: the Evolving Landscape of Scholarly Communication in the Humanities."
