Organizational Support
Enchanting the Desert was developed and published with the support of a number of organizations. The project was peer-reviewed and published via Stanford University Press, as the first product of the Press's current Mellon-supported initiative for the publication of born-digital long-form scholarship.
In addition to the support of Stanford University Press, the majority of the work for this project was carried out at The Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis at Stanford University between 2012 and 2016 and was also supported by The Bill Lane Center for the American West.
