Pac-Man is an arcade game created in 1980 by Japanese company Namco. Although the game wasn't initially popular in Japan, it became an instant hit overseas, becoming the best selling arcade game in the United States within a year. The game was so popular, in fact, that over the next several years it inspired several sequel and spin-off games, two different TV shows, one in the 1980s and one in 2013, and a top ten hit single in 1983, Pac-Man Fever.
To play this port of the arcade game, use the arrow keys to control Pac-Man through the maze while avoiding the ghosts. Beat the level by eating all the dots on the maze. The large dots in the corner, the energizers, let Pac-Man eat the ghosts, earning points and sending them back to the center of the maze to respawn. The ghosts turn blue while an energizer is activated, and start flashing white as it starts wearing off. If Pac-Man touches a ghost without activating an energizer, he loses a life.This port was created by WebRetroGames.
