Our mapping project reveals the participation of a wide range of nations uniting to share ideas and generate new, innovative artistic output. Considering the Dada movement took root during the interwar period, this transnational alliance of contributors demonstrates a willingness to set aside regional identities in order to reform and dismantle the pre-existing nationalist attitudes that the Dadaists believed initiated World War I.
