These stickers were often blunt, straight to the point, and sometimes vulgar to further exemplify their views. An example would be “Children are not for burning” which was in response to the bombings and mass killings of innocent village people living Vietnam pursued by U.S. military during the war. These stickers were often put up in various places at night by groups of counterculturists who stood against U.S imperialism and its conformist values. Another phrase that was originally printed on a Night Raider was “Make Love, Not War, [which] symbolized the conflation of hippies and political radicals,” which is now a worldwide known phrase describing the want of peace between nations.
