Filmic Redefinitions of Spaces of Confinement

The first three films that we looked at focused on the presentation of the spaces of confinement and reflecting the testimonies of the victims. In this last section, we look at the ways in which those spaces of confinement can be redefined or re-purposed. El secreto de sus ojos and “Memoria Colectiva” function on the level of re-presentation as the construction of the prison spaces effectively develop as re-constructions.
