Chiquita has exhibited good community involvement in a number of different ways. Chiquita is involved with sea turtle conservation and "supported the release of 6000 baby turtles in 2010."

Chiquita is also a supported of environmental education. It is crucial that kids learn about the importance of sustainable practices, because they are the future and will be our decision makers one day. If kids learn while growing up how important the environment is, it will ensure that our future businesses will be in good hands when it comes to being green.
