Synopsis: An English soldier is held hostage in a brothel by members of the Irish Republican Army (IRA). They wish to prevent the execution of one of their own men in a Belfast jail who was accused of killing a Royal Ulster Constabulary policeman.

Synopsis: Antihero and gangster, Macheath ("Mackie," or "Mack the Knife") marries Polly Peachum. Their nuptuals angers Polly's father, Mr. Peachum, who is the leader of a ring of London beggars. Then, a series of events unfold when Mr. Peachum tries to kill Macheath.

The Rivals
Synopsis: Set in 18th century Bath, the play follows two young lovers, Lydia and Jack. Lydia wants to marry for love and willing to go into poverty for it. Captain Jack Absolute poses as a poor army officer to court Lydia and successfully woos her, but her aunt will not allow it.
