Letter from the Chair: Dr. Anna J. Catterson
By Dr. Anna J. Catterson, Emporia State University
Dear C2C Members:
This Spring / Summer 2017 edition of the C2C Digital Magazine has been released, and I encourage you to take a look through the articles; it provides a quick glance about what is to come at this year’s SIDLIT! The subcommittee members of the digital magazine did a great job organizing and selecting articles that provide great variety! Thank you!
The Steering Committee has been working diligently at preparing for the #sidlit17 conference August 2-4 at Johnson County Community College.
For the first time, we are offering a pre-conference that focuses on various Learning Management Systems (LMSes). A HUGE thanks to Brian A. Dye from Butler County Community College for leading this initiative! Thanks to the LMS preconference subcommittee for their work!
We also have two outstanding individuals in Kansas who will be presenting keynotes. Sheree Utash, President of Wichita Area Technical College and Dr. Christy Ziegler, Assistant Superintendent for Innovation and Performance for the Shawnee Mission School District, will be joining us and providing us an opportunity to reflect on new and emerging technologies. If you haven’t registered for #sidlit17, please do so quickly – time is running out!
Thanks again to the C2C Digital Magazine subcommittee (Shalin Hai-Jew, Rebecca Gould and Julie Hartwell) and respective authors for another great publication. See you in August!
