The scene picture cited from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon perfectly shows the general costumes that were worn by people in ancient China. The staffs of the film did a great job on decorating the background and the scene. The decoration including the calligraphy and painting is the same as how wealthy families would decorate their houses and yards in ancient China. When Chinese viewers see the structure and decoration of the yard in this scene, they know that the staffs of the film did a great job to reflect the real Chinese culture. In the bottom picture, which is cited from Kung Fu Hustle, while all the other gangsters wear suit and tie, Sing wears a suit of Chinese traditional costume that was worn by people daily in the late Qing dynasty period.
