Davies, Philip. "Lebanon Copes with a Growing Population of Syrian Refugees." The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs 33.5 (2014): 30-1. ProQuest. Web. 3 Apr. 2016.
This source includes an account from a man who went to visit Lebanon in April 2014 and was shocked by the number of Syrian refugees he found there along with the conditions they were living in. I found this source from the UT Library page, under the ProQuest Database.

Denton, Bryan. The main market in the Shatila refugee camp, one of two such rapidly growing settlements on the edge of Beirut, Lebanon. Digital image. Www.nytimes.com. Nytimes, 29 Nov. 2014. Web. <http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/29/world/middleeast/palestinian-haven-for-6-decades-now-flooded-from-syria-.html?_r=0>.

This is an image from the New York Times of Shatila refugee camp in Lebanon, which was originally created for Palestinians after 1948, but now hosts waves of Syrian refugees. This camp will play an interesting role in my research because it’s a space that has changed through time and plots Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon all together on one point on my map.

Ghattas, Hala et al. “Prevalence and Correlates of Food Insecurity among Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon: Data from a Household Survey.” Ed. Paul C. Struik. PLoS ONE 10.6 (2015): e0130724. PMC. Web. 3 Apr. 2016.
This source included statistics on food security for Palestinians residing in Lebanon, I will use this information to compare to similar statistics I found about Syrian refugees residing in Lebanon. I found this source from the UT Library page, under the US Nation Library of Medicine Nation Institutes of Health Databse.

TheRealNews. "Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon Denied Rights." YouTube. YouTube, 13 June 2010. Web. 04 Apr. 2016.

This video is from YouTube and it is about how Palestinian refugees in Lebanon often get denied civil rights, professions, and are discriminated against. In my project, I would like to compare these barriers that Palestinian refugees in Lebanon face in comparison to the Syrian refugees there, and specifically look into the how these refugees contribute to the workplace in Lebanon. This will be plotted on Lebanon on my map.

Refaat, Marwan M., and Kamel Mohanna. "Syrian Refugees in Lebanon: Facts and Solutions." The Lancet382.9894 (2013): 763-64. Web.
This source had statistics from the UNHCR about the Syrian refugees who reside in Lebanon, specifically statistics about health issues that a great deal of these refugees in Lebanon have. I found this source from the UT Library page, under the Science Direct Database.

Schiocchet, Leonardo. "Suspicion and the Economy of Trust among Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon."Cambridge Anthropology Cam Anthropol 32.2 (2014): 112-27. Web.
This source is a study of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon from 2005-2010 and the association of suspicion towards refugees. This is extremely important for my research because in Lebanon, there have been many acts of racism against both Palestinian and Syrian refugees made by the Lebanese government, police, and citizens. I found this source on the UT library page under the Ingenta Connect database.

UNRWA. "Palestine Refugees from Syria in Lebanon." YouTube. YouTube, 20 Feb. 2014. Web. 04 Apr. 2016.

This video is from YouTube and it is about Palestinian refugees who fled to Syria, and then after the Syrian civil war began, fled to Lebanon, where they reside now. The video was filmed by UNRWA staff, so it also shines light on their perspective of trying to aid these overcrowded camps now filled with both Palestinians and Syrians. This will be plotted on Lebanon in my map but will have a path beginning in Palestine, going to Syria, then ending in Lebanon.

Vicenews. "Arab Winter: Syrian Refugees in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley." YouTube. YouTube, 24 Feb. 2016. Web. 04 Apr. 2016.

This is a Vice News video I found on YouTube about the conditions that Syrian Refugees in Lebanon (specifically Bekaa valley) live in. This will represent the plot point in between Syria and Lebanon because although Bekaa valley in Lebanon, it is on the border and it is often the first place these refugees will stop once crossing Syrian borders.
