The year is 2050. Corporate greed has pushed fracking and tar sand mining operations to all corners of the earth, effectively poisoning most of the worlds fresh water supply. What ensued was a world war for access to what fresh water resources remained. Armies that were supposed to protect their peoples were quickly turned against them whom they had swore to protect. Corporations had effectively turned the armies of the first world into mercenary armies of the western corporations. The oppressed people of the world stood in unity against these armies, but to no avail. With the world in upheaval, many government facilities were often left vulnerable and sometimes abandoned. When raiding an abandoned government facility in what used to be Nevada, a coalition of freedom fighters against the corporate mercenary armies came across what looked like a small craft or egg like pod, deep in the basement of the facility. When a member of the group touched the POD, it lit up with the intensity of the sun, and levitated fifty feet into the air, exposing the immense vastness and expanse of the basement of the facility. When the pod lowered some hours later, what emerged was beyond the belief of everyone. It was some sort of humanoid creature, what could only be assumed an alien. In time the coalition learned to communicate with the Humanoid and discovered it was a she, and was an alien from a planet that had since been consumed by a supermassive black hole. Her people were living in a space crafts roaming the universe in search of any planet they could settle and call home. The aliens were reluctant to come to earth for they had knowledge of humans apparent penchant for violence. Finally out of desperation they sent one of their own to come to earth to try and bargain with the peoples of earth. Not surprisingly, Ahleyziia , as the alien called herself, was greeted with hostility and imprisoned in the facility where they had found her. In time the people befriended and struck a deal with Ahleyziia. Much of the worlds population had already died from lack of water. Many other been killed during the war. Regardless of cause of death, there was an immense amount of space for her people, on earth as much of the population was now gone. In agreement to let her people come to earth, all that was asked of the aliens was that they some how help the freedom fighters win the war. Ahleyziaa agreed and contacted her people and soon their star ships came to earth and gave the humans the weapons they so desperately needed to win they war. The year is now 2150. The war has been over for almost 100 years. As have Ahleyziia's people been living on earth with humans. But now tensions are rising between the two races. The humans seem to have forgotten what her people did for them to win the war. And human hostility against these peaceful aliens are rising because they are the modern day "other". As history has shown, humans have a tendency to fear and often destroy what they see as different or other. This is the story of a growing up in the new world as the modern day other. In this game you will take the perspective of Ahleyziia's daughter Sygnomi as she starts to discover who she is, and how she fits into the planet where she lives.

4. Sygnomi is confused. She asks herself why has humanity set boundaries on itself the way it has. She knows how dynamic and every changing life is. Her people are the perfect example. They have gone from a living on their home planet, to being nomadic space travelers with the consumption of the their planet by the black hole, to now living on earth. Sygnomi contemplates why a rigid definition and stereotypes are publicly accepted to define what it means to be.
5. Sygnomi is confused. Should she go for a walk. Or should she go drink a beer and relax.
6. The game is over. Ask yourself why does the world view beauty as it does? Why does it view race as it does? Why does it view women as it does? Think how these world views, when constantly forced down the the throats of people, can effectively socialize and alter the way individual think about themselves and others. What natural law is there that says this is how it has to be.
