Age of Hypocrisy

Conclusion

America has been acting like a world protector that doesn't actually protect people's freedoms overseas or at home. This exhibit explored this idea from World War II to the end of the Vietnam War. While global intervention is sometimes necessary, like in the case for fascist regimes, America would avoid dealing with their domestic problems, such as racism and equal rights among men and women at home. The United States continued to try 'protect' other country's freedoms, by intervening in some Asian countries to try to stop the spread of communism. The hypocrisy is that there are flaws that exist with in capitalist system as well. The hypocrisy continues to this day. I will leave you with this final thought: Obama won the noble peace price when he was issuing hundreds of drone strikes (many of these on incorrect targets) in counties like Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Qatar, Jordan, the list goes on. We are not in the middle east to protect peoples freedoms from Terrorism. We are in the middle east because of oil and weapon deals with countries like Saudi Arabia -which do not support equal rights!
