Large and Enthusiastic Meeting - The Meeting a Success
Missoula, July 13 - [Special.] - A large and enthusiastic democratic ratification meeting was held this evening in the court house square. Fire works and bonfires illuminated the scene and the Twenty-fifth infantry band furnished music. The first speaker was Hon. F. G. Higgins, who spoke for twenty minutes. He was loudly applauded. He was followed by I. G. Denny, H. C. Stiff, Judge Woody and Geo. B. Wilds. There were a great many ladies among the audience. A stand had been erected and this was decorated with bunting and flags. Seats were also provided, but not nearly sufficient to accommodate the crowd. In every way the meeting was .
