Passes were received for the whole band but some of the boys preferred staying at the barracks than going camping. The part had the Flathead lake for their destination. The supply wagon was filled to overflowing, tents, stoves, plenty of bedding and an abundance of rations were among the stores. Bandmaster Safranek accompanied the party on his bicycle.
