!Si Se Puede

The iconic image of Rosie the Riveter is shown, but instead of saying “We Can Do It!” she is shown saying: “!Si Se Puede”.  The image imitates the iconic Rosie the Riveter poster to celebrate Sonia Sotomayor as the first Latina and third woman to be named as a Supreme Court judge, and to show how far the women's rights movement has come. “!Si Se Puede” translates to "Yes We Can!", which is also the motto of the United Farm Workers, founded by Cesar Chavez
