Welcome!
I am Besik Turazashvili, a student at New York University and hopefully a good director one day. I am Georgian who was born in Russia, lived in Italy and studied in the US, Argentina, Australia and UAE. My love to film starting forming thank to my mother, Eteri Dvali, a lovely woman with a very fine taste formed in Royal Georgian Academy and France. French New Wave and Italian Neorealism made me watch the screen without even thinking about toys and games.
I really enjoy drama and realism. When it's a dramatic realism - even better. My taste get mixed with Italian Neorealism, Iranian realism and Soviet kino. I love the characters that can hide and who can scream. I love honesty, pure and rough feelings. Only this can drive my story.
So, this page was created by me to show you how a typical work on a film starts for me. Where I bring the inspiration from, how I think about the characters, location, style, sound and story. All these details make up a big story and a film. A film that I am talking about is called "Lost in Escapade." Simple story with not simple characters who make it all go crazy and I hope your minds will be tired after watching this. It's ok, you can watch some Hollywood happy ending if you want to rest but if you are not afraid to face the reality, see yourself in one of my characters, refresh your memories of unhappy love, then follow me!
