Nicholas Mirzoeff

Nicholas Mirzoeff is Professor of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University. He is a co P.I. on the Alliance for Networking Visual Cultures project that has funded the development of Scalar and an adviser to a Mellon project on Open Peer Review. In 2011, he was a Shpilman Fellow in Philosophy and Photography. He is a member of the Social Text collective and sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Visual Culture, Cultural Studies and Photography and Culture. His publications include:
