Tt Collection by Tiffany Saidnia: Family History

Tiffany comes from a family of four. Her father, who passed thirteen years ago, worked in commercial property real estate. Her mother works in creating and making invitation stationery sets. Furthermore, she has a brother who works in insurance. Her family left Iran prior to the Iranian Revolution; they were fortunate enough to have traveled to the United States while their other family members were also residing in California. After Tiffany was born, the rest of her family stayed in the states while her father flew back to Iran to gather their belongings. While Tiffany is a part of a traditional Persian Jewish family, she and her brother were treated equally. Persian Jewish families tend to be more lenient with their sons than with their daughters. Daughters are often restricted from spreading their wings, while their brother’s have more freedom. Tiffany was free to leave home and go away to college, where she attended The University of California Santa Barbara. Her parents were consistently supportive of Tiffany and the dreams she wanted to pursue. They never limited her or steered her into a direction that they wished for her- they allowed her to pursue what she wished for herself. The support of her family was a big factor in helping Tiffany reach her goal of becoming a successful fashion designer.
