The Iranian American Jewish Federation: Immigration & Refugee Resettlement

Iranian American Jewish Federation has and continues to assist Iranian Jews with the immigration process by partnering with multiple organizations such as Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). Together, these international Jewish nonprofit organizations have aided countless refugees in their immigration to the United States. IAJF also assists the immigrants with the preparation of their applications for refugee status, which are processed in Vienna. They also help with any additional issues that the members of the community may encounter.

Over the years, IAJF also established close contact with many United States public officials to better expose the issues faced by the Iranian Jewish community. Their goal with these dignitaries is to promote laws and regulations in favor of this developing and thriving community. They also aim to encourage the younger generations to join in their efforts and voice their opinions on how to better assist the Iranian Jewish community.
