Occasionally for Shabbat, the holiest day of the week for Jews, both Haichal Moshe and Chabad Persian Youth organize Shabbatons, also known as a weekend getaway, where teens and young adults are able to dine on an endless kosher feast while singing and interacting with rabbis and other friends. By doing so, many of the attendees are able to embrace the significance of Shabbat and build a strong bond over the course of just a few days. In fact, some bonds are so great that many of these Shabbatons have even produced many marriages. Rabbi Loloyan counts sixteen successful marriages which have developed from the interactions of bachelors and bachelorettes at a Shabbaton. By creating a Jewish atmosphere for young Jewish adults these future fathers and mothers have not only found a partner for life, but now also have the Jewish education they may one day wish to provide to their children.
