Looking Beyond: Elizabeth Mossanen - Supporting Others

A number of programs and services have benefited from Looking Beyond’s work. They strive to help fund organizations who share their goals. Organizations receiving support from Looking Beyond include schools, camps, and hospitals, all with programs devoted to helping special needs children. Consequently, Looking Beyond has chosen to focus their efforts on helping programs and organizations, rather than individuals, as they feel it would be too difficult to choose to support one family over another.

Although the majority of board members are Iranian Jews, the organization does not limit their funding services to this specific subset of the population. Since their creation, they have extended their generosity to help provide a wide array of services, looking to help children and families with special needs of all backgrounds. Close to forty organizations, including the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, the Special Olympics, and the Etta Israel Children Youth Program, benefit from their funding each year.
