WELCOME TO THE LABYRINTH
For fathers everywhere and those who love them.
It’s not just about the one I’m stuck in with my dad, it’s the one I’m stuck in with my kids. At the center of both is the man I must not become.
My father was an angry man with no sense of peace. Am I destined to be angry and to have no peace? No. But I’m destined to wrestle with that anger. My kids don’t have to be victims to it, and neither do I. But wrestle we must—no escaping it. Got to get right to the middle of the labyrinth and wrestle that bull-man down. Then find my way back out into the light. Kids, hate to break it to you, but it looks like you'll have to deal with it too.
