Introduction

When one hears the word "cyborg" what is the first thing to come to mind? Is it a creation of a human and robot hybrid? No one likes to think of oneself as a cyborg because we are made of only flesh and bones but with the obsession with technology are we really that different from we consider to be cyborgs? The way society is attached to the technology, always keeping our phones, iPods and other electronic devices at an arms length is quite alarming. People get enraged and desperate to look for WIFI when there is not any or any with free access. Instead of living in the moment, we take videos and pictures for future reference and missing the point of it. We have the need to write or document our lives on social media. Instead of living life, we want others to know what our lives are and know what their lives are. We miss the purpose of living and we do this by being so active in the technological world. Our constant need to have technology right at our finger tips makes us a human/robot hybrid. People's need to have some sort of electronic device on us at all time, have made the current human race a modern day cyborg, human and machine.
